Martin Tubridy
Martin who hails from Clohanbeg,Cree began his musical career at the age of 10 when his father bought him his first accordion and tin whistle. Martin is more or less self taught with help along the way from Martha Shannahan, his school teacher and Seamus Walsh, friend and accordian player. He was also very influenced by the Mullagh Set, whom he said gave him his time and rythme. At the age of 14 Martin started playing sessions in West Clare. Throughout his youth he played in many competitions and won the Slogadh All Ireland under 18.

Martin has recorded live with
friends at Walsh's Pub in 2002.
